Integrated/Interactive GIS System to:
- improve overall facilities management
- have current information updated dynamically in real time
- automate document management and data gathering
CAD/LAN is the group responsible for the implementation, management, and maintenance of the Facilities Management Information System (FMIS). FMIS includes all project information as it relates to design, construction, planning, and infrastructure management. Working together with many KU departments as well as federal, state, and local agencies, CAD/LAN is responsible for providing current information for campus conditions in a multi-disciplinary environment.
